The Watts Internship Program is designed to provide you with the opportunity to utilize what you have learned in the classroom while gaining a true understanding of the business world by applying those key principles through hands-on experience. During the internship, students will gain exposure to and impact operations. You will work with the Customer Solutions teams identifying process improvements, researching new technologies and assisting the development of new products or processes. This internship is onsite in our Fort Worth, TX location. You will report to the Sr. Director, Digital Transformation.

You Will:
  • Gain exposure to the following components during your internship:
  • Developing and Implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Kaizens and Continuous Improvement
  • Cross-Departmental Networking and Collaboration
  • Develop automations and orchestrations using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Automate, Power Apps, Flow, Power , Power BI) from proof-of-concept to production deployment.
  • Integrate with Team and Microsoft 365
  • Create data models with Common Data Service
You Have:
  • Current student (junior or senior preferred) actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering or related degree
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of and development with Microsoft Power Platform - Power Automate, Flow, Power Apps, Power BI, Azure, SharePoint, Teams, etc and Common Data Service (Microsoft Dataverse)
  • Experience with relationships, rules, calculations, and rollups within Common Data Service
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills
  • Understanding of PowerApps formulas and best practices
  • Know how to set up and troubleshoot custom connectors within Power Apps and Power BI
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Python coding experience
  • Azure Certification
  • Experience coding and/or using REST APIs
  • JSON parsing
  • Experience with Agile development
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and do not require sponsorship now or in the future
