The Role:

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Lead .Net/AWS Full Stack Engineer to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build cutting edge, cloud-based software that powers modern business. Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Tech lead to drive sprint based work with a focus on .net and AWS, resolve issues within .net and Aws
• Drive offshore team and guide design sessions
• Design, develop, test and implement technical solutions based on business requirements and strategic direction
• Deep understanding and seasoned on Web UI development using Container frameworks
• Develop end to end design for the platform, solution delivery and execution and code quality
• WebBased UI Performance Tuning industry best solution design
• Collaborate with peer teams, technology platform owner, product manager/owner, enterprise architecture and platform support teams to ensure delivery of production into Production
• Working on Agile projects with CI/CD
• Work collaboratively with quality assurance engineer teams, DevOps to ensure all SDLC processes are adhered to
• Assess opportunities for platform/application and process improvements
• Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing systems
• Hands on Web and C#/ .Net development experience integrating multiple application platforms
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and application integration partners
• Application resiliency, scalability and performance design

Qualifications

• 10+ years of coding experience with 5+ years focused in core .Net development and MS SQL server
• 5+ years of experience in AWS
• 5+ years of experience with application design
• Experience with Kafka is preferable
• Proficient in building presentation layer using via UI presentation frameworks/languages.
• Experienced in TDD (Test Driven Development).
• Good understanding of DevOps concepts leveraging CICD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo.
• Possesses engineering and consulting mindset to help build transformational cloud ready software.
• Knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker, Shell scripts are nice to have.
• Excellent communication skills and participates actively in team discussions.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $130K - $155K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
