Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Materials Technician II (1st shift) for our rapidly expanding team in Anaheim, CA lab. In this role, you will Perform materials testing and materials properties analysis specializing in chemical, electrical, environmental and mechanical areas.

Salary: $25-$28/hr

Responsibilities

    Perform Materials properties testing on instrumentation and data acquisition systems; Including but not limited to TMA/DSC, strain gauges, flow meters, thermocouples, power supplies, RTD's and load cells

  • Produce accurate and timely routine test data with minimal supervision or guidance; perform non-routine projects or tasks with direct guidance

  • Produce test reports for customers with clear and concise documentation of the details of the testing performed

  • Troubleshoot testing issues for solutions, Maintain and organize equipment and instrumentation in lab workspace

  • Under General Supervision, can perform certain recurring work independently

  • Able to complete intermediate procedures

  • Regular interaction with clients

  • Able to troubleshoot and rework standard tests

This is a fast-paced environment, and we need someone who is proactive, self-motivated and a team player. The person for this role will be a specialist in their field, respected by all who they work with, keen to learn and enthusiastic in the face of challenge. You will need:

  • 2-6 Years of experience

  • HS Diploma or GED. Technical Certification, AA or AS degree preferred.

  • Knowledge of TMA & DSC preferred

  • Intermediate interpretation and analysis of test results

  • Comprehensive knowledge of printed circuit board manufacturing and assembly

  • Able to use all standard equipment; able to accurately capture all necessary data; basic MS Office skills; basic mathematical skills
