In this role as our Sr. Reporting and Analytics Specialist, you'll be responsible for gathering, structuring, and analyzing data to support Veolia's Talent Analytics and Reporting needs. You'll play a critical role supporting the development and automation of standard HR data reports, analyses, and dashboards leveraging report software from multiple systems. This position will collaborate primarily with HR but also across business functions to manage reporting, analyze trends in data, and make recommendations to the leadership team, in order to drive strategic decisions or satisfy business requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathers, structures, and analyzes data from multiple sources, presenting the results of data in a secure, usable format. Provides insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

  • Builds reliable, accurate, and cross-matched reports for data research, troubleshooting, and data audits

  • Designs, develops, and manages new reports and dashboards designed to provide management a view into people HR metrics and ensure the timely development and distribution of established periodic reports aligned with data privacy policies and secure delivery methods. Designs and creates dashboards/scorecards for monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Works closely with cross-functional teams to understand their reporting needs. Provides feedback and user/technical specifications regarding the design of reports and dashboards for leadership

  • Performs analysis of data gaps and work with relevant stakeholders to recommend solutions

  • Researches and troubleshoots data issues to ensure data quality. Develops and maintains data dictionaries and documentation.

  • Expands and enhances analytics capability, continues to improve processes, explore/adopt new tools. Collaborates with various business partners on project requests, prioritization, and delivery.

  • Uses business applications and statistical/analytical tools to develop interactive presentations and data visualizations.

  • Trains and supports team members on data analysis and reporting tools.

About You:

  • Proven experience in data analysis and reporting roles

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, Visier, Prism, etc.)

  • Solid experience working in SAP SuccessFactors Reporting and Analytics tools

  • Hands-on experience with SF People Analytics tools (Story, Canvas, Tiles, and Dashboard Reports)

  • Ability to analyze standard out of the box reports to map to legacy reports, develop custom reports and guide customers on KPIs and develop meaningful insights

  • Advanced critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills

    • Business and system analysis skills

    • HR domain knowledge and experience

    • Technology aptitude and learning ability

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including conflict resolution

  • Position requires strong collaboration skills, proactively partnering across the organization

  • Attention to detail, process orientation, and ability to provide detailed documentation required

  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and ability to effectively scope technical parameters and anticipate impact required

  • Strong ability to analyze and interpret data and high level of accountability and ability to work independently

Core Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Analytics, HR, or Data Science or equivalent experience. Master Degree preferred.

  • Four or more years of analysis and reporting, preferably in an HR environment

Preferred:

  • Preferred certifications: PHR, SPHR, SHRM CP, SHRM SCP, Workday Pro, SuccessFactors SFX

  • Can be fully remote with 10% travel for key meetings or hybrid.
