Instructional Designer

Responsibilities

Partner with Curriculum Lead to conduct needs analysis; build relationships with
subject matter experts, stakeholders, and users; and create design plans to build sales
and technical training.
Use a keen attention to detail and focus on the user experience to create highly
engaging on-demand and instructor-led training for multiple job roles, use cases,
products, and audiences.
Work daily with the Learning Management System team and Content Managers to
successfully QA and launch training content for users across multiple time zones and
languages.
Gather, analyze, and address metrics and feedback from users to ensure high quality
and efficient learning solutions and iterate on content design.
Work with vendors to create videos, animations, e-learning courses, and other digital
assets.
Create diagnostic, formative and summative assessments to measure learning
outcomes.
Evaluate learning effectiveness and communicate KPIs to key stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS degree required
5+ years experience developing training and enablement content
Experience designing and developing scripts and storyboards for videos, e-learning content, or
instructor-led training assets.
Experience managing vendors (content vendors, localization vendors, etc)
Experience designing, documenting, and implementing curriculum development processes and
best practices
Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative, Adobe After Effects, Articulate, Storyline,
Camtasia, Captivate, and/or Evolve
Results-oriented and comfortable solving ambiguous problems
Superb communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders (including executives)
across regions and teams

Preferred Requirements
B.A. or B.S. in Instructional Design (or similar) with 4+ years of relevant experience.
Familiarity with User Experience (UX) design best practices and processes
