Summary of Position: ServiceNow HRSD Principal Developer

You will be implementing and driving specific technical tasks, serving as technical support, interacting directly with clients, and assisting to create standardization of Technology methodologies, approaches and related work.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new ServiceNow applications and services for HR Modules; including Case Management, HR Administration, Knowledge Base and Employee Service Centre
  • Collaborate with a technical and business partner to implement effective ServiceNow HRSD solutions.
  • Development of new modules, functionalities, customizations, integrations, and workflow automations on the NOW platform
  • Conduct thorough reviews of existing ServiceNow architecture, offering insightful recommendations for enhancements and improvements.
  • Work closely with fellow developers and architects to ensure the timely and impeccable delivery of solutions.
  • Participate in comprehensive code reviews, provide valuable input for refining business processes, and engage in meticulous problem analysis.
  • Evaluate and research third-party software options, conducting meticulous feasibility studies to determine optimal integration solutions within the ServiceNow environment.
  • Actively engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives to meticulously plan, monitor, and complete development tasks.
  • Offer on-call support, fostering collaboration and assisting fellow team members in overcoming challenges and impediments.
  • Proactively determine and resolve technical issues and obstacles, maintaining a steadfast focus on continuous improvement.
  • Provide expert assistance to multiple teams seeking to integrate their workflows into the ServiceNow platform.
  • Employ your fix and debugging expertise to resolve complex issues within existing solutions.
  • Give to the ongoing development and maintenance of comprehensive user documentation.
  • Stay at the forefront of ServiceNow's standard processes, industry trends, and emerging functionality, ensuring the implementation of innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10+ years overall work experience including prior work with a leading ServiceNow systems integrator
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Developer on the NOW platform including Advanced JavaScript expertise.
  • Knowledge of CSS and HTML is a plus.
  • Development and Configuration Experience on HRSD module (2 years minimum).
  • Experience in implementing and set-up of ServiceNow Human Resources application (HRSD).
  • Hands-on exposure to configure various aspects of ServiceNow HRSD module to align with the organization's HR processes.
  • Solid experience with ServiceNow HR Service Management, Knowledge Management, Service Portal (ESC), Virtual Agent Chat, Reporting, HR Integrations, HR Lifecycle management and HR onboarding / offboarding.
  • Demonstrated competence in the various HR functional areas, especially employee relations and change management
  • Experience with dashboards, reports, and other HR management modules to monitor and manage HR cases and employee satisfaction
Work Authorization

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary is between $140,000-$160,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
