The RoleAspen Technology, industry leader in Process Engineering & Cost Estimation software is looking for a dynamic and energetic individual as a Senior Product Manager for the Economic Evaluation Product Family that includes Aspen Capital Cost Estimator product (ACCE). The Product Manager will define strategic direction, lead the product & technology strategy and develop plans to accelerate customer adoption and business growth. The role also contributes to the overall technical and commercial strategy for AspenTech Economic Evaluation product family. ACCE is the world's leading tool for cost estimation of process plant projects and is a central component of AspenTech's Economic Evaluation product family, which together covers all phases of capital projects from conceptual design through to plant modifications during operations. Economic Evaluation is a key element of AspenTech's aspenONE Engineering suite, which provides process simulation, analysis, design and optimization capabilities for the design and operation of process assets.Your Impact
  • Leading product strategy to ensure business growth.

  • Product and technology direction for the Economic Evaluation software.

  • Responsible for product market analysis.

  • Close working relationship with research and development team to define product requirements and end user scenarios.

  • Close working relationship with marketing and sales on a worldwide basis.

  • Translating feedback from the customers into software requirements and product strategy to achieve rapid adoption of the software. Engage with customers to set up early adopter clubs.

  • A passion for driving adoption and usage of software products and for enhancing work practices, including working with service delivery partners.

What You'll Need
  • Minimum B.S. degree in any engineering, MBA, or other advanced management training, desired but not essential.
  • At least 5-10 years hands-on experience using commercial cost estimation software tools for process industry projects
  • Hands on experience in the use of Aspen Capital Cost Estimator preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Aspen Capital Cost Estimator or other software tools for project economic analysis
  • Good understanding of the end user needs, business drivers and industry practices in estimating.
  • Initiative to focus on meeting business growth targets.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate the product message.
  • Proven ability to work independently.
  • Proven track record in leading successful project, product or business initiatives.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful strategies for driving software adoption and usage.
