Salary Range: $52,000-$72,800 annually


Shifts: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Saturdays 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM


As a Mechanic, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of vehicles. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing issues accurately, conducting routine maintenance, and providing exceptional customer service. We're looking for candidates with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of complex mechanical and electrical systems.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough inspections of vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
  • Repair, maintain, and upgrade vehicle computer and electronic systems
  • Conduct routine maintenance work to ensure vehicle functionality and longevity
  • Schedule future maintenance sessions and provide motorists with advice on proper vehicle use
  • Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts, and fix issues such as leaks
  • Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for repair or maintenance jobs
  • Keep detailed logs of work performed and issues encountered
  • Maintain equipment and tools in optimal condition


The ideal candidate for the Mechanic position should possess a certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship, although it's preferred. Proven experience as an auto mechanic is essential, along with excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles. A working understanding of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods is necessary, as well as the ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment. The candidate should be willing to adhere to all safety precautions and maintain excellent physical condition. While a high school diploma is preferred, valid certification such as ASE is a definite plus. Experience with diesel engines, alignment, brakes, diagnostics, and automotive technology is highly desirable.
