GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
As an Network Operations Center Specialist at Quad, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the operational integrity of Quad's in-store media networks across various retail environments. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, operational management, and an understanding of digital media in the retail context. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of digital signage, interactive displays, and other networked media solutions, providing a seamless and engaging customer experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Network Management: Oversee the operation and maintenance of Quad's in-store retail media networks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to network hardware, software, and connectivity, minimizing downtime and service disruptions. Troubleshoot directly with retailers via phone call as required to remotely resolve issues.
- Content Deployment: Coordinate with content teams and clients to ensure timely and accurate uploading and scheduling of digital media content across the network.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with equipment vendors and service providers for maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting of network components.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor network performance, analyze system data, and generate reports to inform operational improvements and strategies.
- Client Communication: Act as a technical point of contact for clients, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction with network services.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure all network operations adhere to relevant legal, security, and privacy standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including IT, field support, accounts, and sales, to ensure cohesive operation and development of the media network.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on an equivalent basis
Education: Four-year College degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years in network management preferred. 3-5 years installation, service, or technical support preferred. 3-5 years digital signage implementation preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Network+, A+ preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong written and oral skills
- Ability to adapt internal and customer communications based on the audience
- Personal Computer proficiency in Business Applications
- Strong technical skills in network management and digital media
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills.
