Pharmacist Job Hospital - Indio, CA

Soliant, a premier healthcare staffing pany, has partnered with a respected munity hospital in Indio, California. We are currently seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join their dedicated team. This exciting opportunity offers a 4-day workweek (10-hour shifts) with variable days and afternoons. The assignment is set to start ASAP and has a duration of 13 weeks. If you have at least 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience and hold a California license, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Perform inpatient pharmacy duties, including medication order verification, preparation, and dispensing
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and ensure patient safety
- Review patient medication profiles for accuracy and appropriateness
- Provide drug information and education to healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) and pharmacy technology systems (Cerner, Omnicell)
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:
- Active pharmacist license in the state of California (CA)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication management in a hospital setting
- Familiarity with EHR systems (Cerner preferred) and automated dispensing cabinets (Omnicell)
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
