Middle Grade Science Teacher | Elgin, AZ| Full-time

Are you a passionate and innovative educator with a love for science and a desire to inspire the next generation of scientists? We are seeking a dynamic Middle Grade Science Teacher to join our team in Elgin, AZ, and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and inquiry-based science lessons for middle school students.
  • Create hands-on activities, experiments, and projects that foster critical thinking, curiosity, and scientific exploration.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students and promote understanding of scientific concepts.
  • Incorporate real-world applications and interdisciplinary connections to enhance student learning and relevance.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes collaboration, respect, and a passion for science.
  • Assess student understanding through formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum, share best practices, and support student success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Valid teaching certificate or licensure in Science (middle grades) or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience teaching middle school science preferred.
  • Strong content knowledge in science and a mitment to staying current with developments in the field.
  • Excellent munication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and a genuine desire to inspire curiosity and a love for science in students.
