Payroll Specialist

Overview of the Payroll Specialist role:
- Process hourly, salary, commission, and bonus payroll weekly
- Gather commission and bonus information and enter into Excel, then import into payroll software
- Review wages for accuracy and correct any errors
- Record adjustments for net wages, including exemptions, insurance coverage, and loan payments for each employee
- Update and maintain master payroll records
Preferred Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist Role:
- Two or more years of experience with high volume payroll processing
- Proficiency in Excel, including knowledge of pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
