Packaging Operator

We are looking for a Packaging Operator to join our MGP team in Atchison, KS. As a Packaging Operator, you are responsible for operating packaging equipment and assisting in the process for incoming and outgoing materials.

What will you do?

• Operate equipment such as bag/box filler, bag sealer, box taper, pallet stretch wrapper, and others.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Document incoming and outgoing materials.

What do you need to bring to the table?

• Ability to operate multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Required to maintain manual and automated records and must be able to communicate over a radio.
• Mathematical skills required.
• Monitor and maintain equipment.

The training rate for this position is $19.28/hr. After fully trained the rate is $25.79/hr.  This anticipated salary range is not, however, a promise of any specific salary for any specific employee, which is always dependent on factors such as actual candidate background, experience, education, skills, and work location.  If your desired base salary falls outside of this range, we hope you'll still apply as there may be other positions that better align.
