Our client is looking for a Medical Imaging Support Associate.
This position is onsite.
Work schedule: Saturday and Sunday overnight 10 pm - 6:30 am every weekend, Tuesday and Wednesday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, Friday 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
The contract is for 13 weeks with the possibility of being extended or converted to a Direct Hire.
Equipment will be provided.
Position Summary:
Register patients for multiple services in a timely and efficient manner, providing privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Is knowledgeable of the roles of registration and is responsible for all hospital codes.
Greets and assists patients, families, and other visitors, and assures that they are triaged to the proper location, keeping in mind their dignity and identity.
Performs a variety of clerical duties relating to record filing, answering telephones, directing inquiries, and mail distribution.
A mentor will be provided.
Must Have:
Patient check-in/registration, answer phones, burn CD's support operation in PACS
Appropriate phone etiquette, computer skills, customer service (2-3 years)
High school graduate with courses in business and computers
Ability to read, write, and speak the English language effectively
Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
Must be able to type 30 wpm, error-free
