Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opening - Near Medina, NY

Soliant Health, a leading healthcare staffing agency, is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position near Medina, NY. This opportunity is available for the remainder of the school year, providing the chance to make a significant impact on the communication and language skills of students in self-contained classes at the elementary level. The successful candidate will play a vital role in fostering a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students within self-contained classes.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to a caseload of 17-20 elementary students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student assessments, progress reports, and interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) credential.
  • Experience working with self-contained classes at the elementary level is preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of each student.
