Requirements:

• Valid IL Special Education teaching license
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• 4thgrade and 7thgrade, Resource classroom
• Work with the grade level teams to which they are assigned and case manage the student IEPs at those grade levels
• There is some co-teaching opportunity, as well as pull-out direct instruction, typically in reading and math
• Caseload numbers usually range from 8-18.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Provide instruction tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support student success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
