Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required.

• 24 months of Cardiac Transitional Care Unit experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license prior to placement start.

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

36 guaranteed hours

Shifts & Scheduling 6 weeks at a time. Self scheduling, balanced then reviewed by the manager. First schedule they would be filling holes.

Weekend Requirement EOW weekend at minimum, Sat, Sun, Mon have high needs.

Holiday Requirement at least 1 major holiday during the holiday season

Floating Requirements Within Skill set, traveler may float to 4th floor but take a PCU load

Region III: Primary to St. Michael Medical Center but if needed, travelers will be required to float throughout Region Three: St Anthony Hospital – Gig Harbor, WA; St. Michael Medical Center – Silverdale, WA.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients TAVR, Post Caths- TR bands and fem stops, Temporary/ transvenous pacemakers, VATS, lobectomies, POD 4-5 CABG,Thoracic- fem pops, etc.

Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes

Common titratable &/or set rate drips nitroglycerin, heparin, cardizem, nicardipine, amiodarone, insulin, dopamine, esmolol, labetolol, milrinone, argatroban, aggrostat

Must have charge experience

Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Yes, charge nurse

Scrub Color/Dress Code Any professional color scrubs.

An interview may not be available prior to offer.

If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only)
