**What you will do:**

* Supervise and assist in daily warehouse and shipping areas including shipping customer orders, satisfying internal shipping requirements, ensuring accuracy of shipments, and supporting documentation, receiving incoming material, and routing to appropriate area or personnel

* Stay informed on DOT, Federal and State regulations relating to job duties

* Interpret and implement loading and unloading procedures and documentation of receipts for incoming inventory

* Maintain knowledge base for themselves and employees on how to properly use SAP for inventory control functions (both shipping and receiving)

* Motivates, trains, and reviews warehouse personnel

* Participates in the hiring, disciplinary, and firing process of warehouse personnel

* Ensures that warehouse personnel are performing job as required, and that all paperwork is completed as required

* Works with other managers and supervisors to coordinate warehouse employees according to production schedule

* Participates in physical inventory counts and ensures that inventory is maintained to prevent damage or deterioration

* Ensures that the warehouse is maintained as a safe, clean work area

* Be knowledgeable of the chemicals we work with

* Be alert to any unsafe work areas, working conditions, or employees working unsafely

* Work with all plant employees in seeking ways to eliminate waste and inefficiency through the plant

* Complies with all plant policies and procedures including safety policies

* Perform such other duties as may be required from time to time

* Maintain a team relationship within the site operations team

* Model our core value of safety by developing and enabling a culture in which you and your team are regularly contributing to a safe work environment

* Additional responsibilities as required

**What you will bring:**

* Bachelors degree required. May consider relevant experience in lieu of a degree

* 1+ years of warehousing, manufacturing, or supply chain experience required, including one year of supervisor, mentor or leader experience required

* Knowledge of general business computer software and aptitude to learn new software applications, familiarization with SAP is a must

* Must have leadership skills and ability to work well with other employees

* Must be able to operate a forklift
