Job Description: Madden Industrial is seeking a licensed and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our client’s manufacturing plant team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and electronic components in an industrial setting. Your expertise in working with Allen Bradley PLCs, AC/DC variable speed drives, and servo drives will be crucial in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our production equipment. This is a Union Direct Hire role! Industrial Electrician Pay: $46.35 - $48.31 Industrial Electrician Shift: M-F Graveyard 4 days on/3 days off alternating Industrial Electrician Essential Functions: Adhere to company policies, emphasizing safety protocols and the proper use of personal protective equipment. Enforce maintenance department procedures, rules, and regulations to ensure a safe and clean working environment. Diagnose and isolate equipment malfunctions using schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and specialized test equipment. Perform maintenance on combustion furnaces, troubleshooting pressure transmitters, thermocouples, safety interlocks, and burners. Construct and modify installations in compliance with NEC standards. Install, calibrate, and repair various instruments, including pressure, flow, level, temperature, and position transducers. Execute preventative maintenance and repairs during equipment downtime. Provide technical assistance and collaborate with other departments as needed. Stay up-to-date with city and state electrical codes. Industrial Electrician Knowledge, Education, and Experience: High school diploma or GED, supplemented by at least five years of industrial work experience. Oregon General Journeyman Electrical or OR Manufacturing Plant License Proficiency in using computer programs such as Excel and Microsoft Word for daily work logs. Strong communication skills. Mental and Physical Requirements: Proficient in using electrical test instruments to troubleshoot malfunctions. Capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Skilled in gathering and recording information, completing tasks, and problem-solving in a timely manner. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Full range of motion in upper and lower body. Physical strength to lift and move objects weighing up to 100 pounds. Comfortable working with moving mechanical parts, extreme temperatures, and loud noises. Willingness to work outside of normal business hours as required. Ability to differentiate colors and shades.
