Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
We would love a school-based experienced Special Education Teacher to join the ProCare team for the 2024-2025schoolyear. The school district we have partnered with is a supportive one that always keeps its staffs needs top of mind.
You would be servicing a K-12th grade caseload full time. Interviews are being conducted right now, so please reach to me to be considered for this position!

Job Details:
- Onsite near the Ridgeland, Mississippi area
- Start in August
- # students/sites and caseload information will be discussed more in depth with special services' director during interview
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field)
- Valid state(MS)teaching certification/license in Special Education.
- Prior experience working with students with special needs in inner city is preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide specialized instruction and support to help students achieve academic and social goals
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing learning environment
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
