Special Education Teacher - Shepard, MT

Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Shepard, MT. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse learning needs. This is a contracted position with ProCare Therapy, a leading provider of school-based therapy services.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in various academic subjects.
• Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Use effective teaching strategies and accommodations to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
