Speech Language Pathologistneeded ASAP
Do you have a passion for helping students communicate effectively and overcome communication challenges? ProCare Therapy is partnered with a school district in Benton, ILseeking a highly motivatedSpeech Language Pathologistto join their team for the 2024 school year.
- 2 days/week
- 14 hours/week
- provide evals, and therapy 3-5 years old, Medicaid, IEPs-use embrace as platform user friendly can be trained on that
- 20 kids
- PreK and early childhood
- SLP on staff, needs help with her caseload
- Initial revals, some are early intervention aged in PreK EC classrooms-some revals, and speech therapy.
- Not a CF student-but school experience and with younger kids
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected.
- Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to assess students' progress and make necessary adjustments to instructional strategies.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.
- Appropriate state certification or licensure for therapy in schools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of various teaching strategies, assistive technologies, and accommodations.
