We are in search of a Controller for our financial services client in Rockwall, TX . This position presents an opportunity for an experienced accountant to contribute their expertise towards optimizing financial operations and driving strategic initiatives within our organization.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure the accuracy and compliance of revenue receipts, expenses, and organizational budgets.

· Establish and uphold financial benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards on both a monthly and annual basis.

· Implement and reinforce consistent accounting policies and procedures in accordance with legal standards.

· Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance operational efficiency.

· Provide effective leadership to the accounting team, fostering a culture of trust and productivity.

· Deliver comprehensive financial updates and analysis to senior management.

· Guide financial decision-making in alignment with company policies and prevailing economic conditions.

· Develop and sustain financial controls and guidelines.

· Attain budgeting objectives through thorough analysis and appropriate corrective measures.

· Innovate processes to enhance payroll efficiency.

· Contribute to the formulation of short- and long-term operational strategies.

 

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.

· 5+ years of relevant accounting experience

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

· Strong familiarity with QuickBooks or equivalent accounting software.

· Understanding of banking procedures and adeptness in financial data analysis.

· Knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting.

Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
