Job Description

The Digital Practice Client Consultant Director will play an instrumental role in supporting the growth of Visa's Advisory Services in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). This role will be a key member of a high-performance team, tasked with creating and delivering consulting value-added services for Visa through emerging technology solutions, ecosystem digital partnerships, and innovative approaches. The successful candidate will help shape and implement the digital practice strategy across various regional countries, with the goal of assisting our partners in their digital transformation and evolution towards digitalization of payments and money movement. This role involves developing and leading high-impact engagements and transformational projects for Visa clients. Additionally, the role includes fostering a culture of sustainable innovation, digital progression, and efficient change management.

Scope of work and key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with account executives and advisory services team members to proactively anticipate, identify, and understand client's digital transformation requirements.

  • Craft insightful consulting proposals to address client's digital opportunities and challenges, leveraging knowledge from past engagements and innovative consultative approaches.

  • Diligently execute and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring high quality, applying standardization, demonstrating digital vertical expertise, and working in harmony with other functional areas.

  • Partner with issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, and other key stakeholders within the ecosystem to uncover and leverage industry-wide opportunities.

  • Distill project insights and disseminate outcomes and learnings across regional and global markets to foster expertise of the digital consulting practice.

  • Assume a thought leadership role by conducting proactive research and experimentation. Share insights on emerging digital trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the face of disruptive phenomena.

  • Develop advisory playsets to leverage scale, assisting regional market teams in broad adaptation and implementation.

  • Develop data-driven analyses to identify digitization opportunities and guide tactical and practical recommendations.

  • Formulate holistic methodologies and frameworks to simplify complex industry scenarios and reveal potential business opportunities.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Finance.
* MBA or Master's degree in a related field is a plus.
* Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Financial Services, Payments, Consulting, or related industries.
* Passionate, self-motivated, and results-oriented with an inherent drive towards innovation.
* Technologically driven mindset, digitally savvy and up-to-date with the latest market and industry innovation trends.
* Ability to solve problems and unlock opportunities through structured approaches and a relentless focus on driving incremental growth.
* Strong analytical skills, with proven intellectual and analytical rigor.
* Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
* Team player spirit with an agile mindset.
* Project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
* Proficiency in both English and Spanish (Portuguese a plus).

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124,900.00 to 181,100.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
