Taylor Hospitality has recently acquired Hotel Weyanoke and is currently looking for Full Time and Part Time professionals in the Food and Beverage industry.   • We are recruiting hospitality professionals who will be responsible for interacting with our guests while serving our outstanding culinary options from our Highly Acclaimed Chef - Nate Hughes. 
  • To succeed in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude and deliver outstanding guest experiences. hard work mentality. Previous work experience involving guest service in a fast-paced environment is greatly desired.

Compensation:  Starting at $2.50 per hour plus tips

What will be expected of you:

  • Provide immediate and continuous service and attention to all guests upon seating, introduce yourself.
  • Set up and complete assigned side work, including inspecting all tables in the assigned section.
  • Suggestive selling on menu items and highlight specials. Take guest orders. Special requests check with the kitchen first if it can be accommodated.
  • Place orders with the kitchen through POS. Inform chefs/cooks about any special cooking instructions and or food allergies.
  • Reset tables in your station and assist team members with their stations.
  • Verify the accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, tips, and other charges on all checks.
  • Keep tables, FOH restaurant, and BOH clean at all times.
  • Advise supervisor/manager of any complaints and act to resolve complaints.
  • Perform clean-up, side work, and closing duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
  • Attend pre-meal meetings as requested by the supervisor/manager.

How we determine your qualifications:

  • 1-year experience serving, beneficial 
  • Wine knowledge, beginner
  • Ability to work, weekends, weekdays, and holidays
