Marketing Interns

Gordy’s Lakefront Marine, Inc is pleased to announce our 2024 summer internship program. You will work in a dynamic marketing environment during your time with us. Our internship is a 12-14-week program. You will start around the middle of May (dependent on your school schedule) and the program will end, the second half of August (dependent on your return to date to school).

Pay range is dependent on skill and experience. This is a full-time (seasonal) position and you will be expected to work weekends, as our Customer Events are on weekends and we have a high demand of seasonality on weekends during the summer.

On your first day of employment, Gordy’s Lakefront Marine, Inc will provide additional information about the objectives, policies and general employment conditions.

Your job duties will include but are not limited to:

Campus videography/photography at all our locations, including special events off-campus. In addition, video/photo editing, creation and filming video story lines, blog postings, newsletter writing, market plan creating, assisting with documenting sales boats for web site & social media advertising. You will also assist with social media accounts, creating & scheduling, including but not limited to: Later, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat & LinkedIn.

Additional marketing documentation regarding analytics of advertising as well as mailing list clean-up and other office work. This is a fast-paced environment and requires someone who is a natural go-getter, some who is creative and doesn’t need constant supervision.

We are looking to hire multiple interns for our program, so you do not need to be proficient in all skill areas above. If you are only looking to write copy or blog, or maybe you only have interest in photography, please specify what you feel are your strengths in your application. Any boat knowledge or watersports interest is a plus, but not necessary, so please include that on your application.
