Punchout Carpenter - Make Ready Coordinator

We are currently seeking a skilled Punchout Carpenter to join our team as a Make Ready Coordinator at Kiella Homebuilders. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and completing the final touches on our new homes before they are turned over to the homeowners. You will ensure that all punch list items are addressed and that the homes are move-in ready. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.

• Review punch list items and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to complete necessary repairs and touch-ups
• Perform carpentry work to repair or install items such as trim, doors, cabinets, and fixtures
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and customer expectations
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule make ready activities and ensure timely completion
• Document and communicate progress and completion of punch out and make ready activities
• Address any homeowner questions or concerns related to punch list items or make ready activities
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills

Requirements

• Previous experience as a carpenter, preferably in a residential construction setting
• Strong carpentry and general construction knowledge
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
