What You'll Do
  • Responsible for multiple projects from FFE kickoff through installation and punch lists
  • Coordinate with production team finish plans, specifications, and material selections
  • Review and assist in the development of space plans
  • Responsible for selection and specification of all FFE product and accessories
  • Develop and review FFE Presentations for alignment with client vision, client branding packages, and CID conceptual design aesthetic
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and others to develop leading edge, innovative interior design solutions
  • Develop, mentor, and train FFE team members
  • Review paint plans and update furniture schematics in CAD/Revit as needed
  • Develop and approve custom furniture and drapery worksheets
  • Assist in monitoring each project’s health (hours and overall budget)
  • Schedule resources and facilitate installations
  • Work hands-on in creating unique design elements as needed
  • Assist with punch lists and returns upon completion of installations
  • Develop client and vendor relationships
  • Supervise organization of the design studio
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited institution or combination of education and experience.
  • 6+ years of experience as an interior designer within multi-family, commercial and/or hospitality industries. Experience in residential a plus.
  • Highly developed skills with AutoCAD, a must, and strong knowledge of Adobe Suite (especially Photoshop), MS Office (especially MS PowerPoint), MS Project a plus etc.
  • Working knowledge of modeling software (Sketch-up, Revit, 3D Studios, Rhino 3-D, etc.)
  • Working experience with Studio Webware a plus
  • Detail oriented, strong organizational and collaborative skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong articulate presentation skills with a command of design and construction vocabulary.
  • Knowledge of current design trends and product resourcing 
  • Understanding of budgets and material costs
  • Travel required
