Every day we stand shoulder to shoulder with individuals facing the most daunting challenge they will ever face – a serious, or even a terminal, illness. We help those with advanced illness cope with their day-to-day struggles, whether physical, emotional, social, or spiritual. We also aspire to help our communities better understand end-of-life care. For those of us at Mountain Valley, there could never be a more important or rewarding job.

  • Referral Management: Manage referral network by establishing relationships with healthcare providers, physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and other referral sources to generate growth opportunities.
  • Educational Outreach: Deliver compelling educational presentations that highlight the value and benefits of our hospice services, demonstrating how we can meet the unique needs of patients and their families.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the clinical team to ensure seamless transitions for patients and provide ongoing support to referral sources.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of growth activities, including referral interactions, development calls, and progress reports.
  • Goal Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics, contributing to the overall success of the sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Human Services, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in healthcare sales, with a focus on hospice or related services.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
  • Knowledge of hospice regulations and healthcare industry trends is a plus.
  • Ability to travel within the designated territory.
