Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Land Surveyor to join our team, specializing in land and site development projects. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in interpreting, organizing, and executing technical assignments, contributing to the planning and execution of surveying projects that have significant implications for our organization's initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, development, coordination, and direction of mid-level to moderately scoped projects, or assist in guiding surveying programs of limited complexity.
  • Participate in the conceptualization, planning, and research of problem areas with moderate scope and complexity, employing unconventional approaches and sophisticated research techniques.
  • Apply advanced theories, concepts, and principles within your area of expertise, staying updated on industry developments to recommend program changes or new initiatives.
  • Supervise survey department staff, professionals, and technicians, ensuring progress aligns with overall objectives and recommending adjustments as needed.
  • Cultivate and maintain client relationships through effective communication and participation in local civic organizations and events.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) in Georgia as a requirement, with registration in additional states desirable.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and AutoCAD/Terramodel CADD software.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver exemplary customer service.
  • Capacity to work independently and complete assignments within prescribed parameters and standard practices.
