Warehouse Attendant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Attendant to join our team. The Warehouse Attendant will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials within the warehouse. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, capable of lifting heavy objects, and have a strong understanding of warehouse operations. Responsibilities will include maintaining inventory records, organizing the warehouse space, and ensuring the efficient and safe handling of goods. The Warehouse Attendant will also be expected to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe manner.

Responsibilities:

Ability to unload incoming freight.

• Put away incoming product in correct locations
• Assist incoming bulk freight carriers – Ensuring product is correctly unloaded.

Preparing orders for delivery

• Prepares all orders for current and next day
  1. Stages orders according to delivery timeline
  2. Communicates details with driver

Customer Service

• Packages all will call orders and assists customers with loading
• Assists customers at fuel island as needed
• Ensures the customer areas are safe, operational and visually appealing
  1. Empties trash on fuel island and lubes loading area
  2. Powerwash fuel island & bulk unload/load area weekly
  3. Responds to spills by shutting down systems, performing spill cleanup, etc
  4. Assists customers as needed
• Delivers emergency orders(if equip with CDL)

Packaging and stocking

• Packages products according to packaging list
• Ensures all packaged product is put away and stocked in proper locations
• Stocks products according to par requirements

Warehouse & Facility Cleanliness & Organization

• All aisles and walkways are clean, free of dirt, debris, spillage, and spots.
• All trash cans are empty
• All doorways are clear of obstructions
• Pallets are organized, safely stacked or in proper locations
• Perform regular maintenance and inspection of warehouse equipment

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Proven experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred

- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 100 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment

- Proficiency in operating warehouse machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
