Operations Analyst

Design To Delivery Inc (D2DInc) is a minority-owned, women-owned small business. Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, D2DInc provides services to public-sector organizations in the areas of acquisition and procurement support, contract administration and closeout, development and administration of small business outreach programs, training, administrative support, and marketing communications materials. Our customers include civilian and defense federal government agencies.

Design To Delivery Inc (D2DInc) is looking for an Operations Analyst to support a government customer in Virginia Beach, VA. This person will provide strategic program and project analysis support for a government customer. The qualified individual will be customer-focused and team-oriented with the ability to work independently.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties to be carried out include, but are not limited to:

• Help determine better ways to coordinate and manage large organizations that require the effective use of money, materials, equipment, and people through the application of analytical methods from mathematics, science, and engineering.
• Address diverse issues such as top-level strategy, planning, forecasting, resource allocation, performance measurement, scheduling, the design of production facilities and systems, supply chain management, pricing, transportation and distribution, and the analysis of large databases.
• Gather information, then select the most appropriate analytical technique using a variety of techniques, including simulation, linear and nonlinear programming, dynamic programming, queuing and other stochastic-process models, and the analytic hierarchy process.
• Construct mathematical models that attempt to describe the system being studied and use the models to assign values to the different components and clarify the relationships among them.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline, Physics or Mathematics from an accredited university or college.
• Seven (7) years of professional experience in business operations support.
• Five (5) years of experience supporting DoD and/or DoN programs.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to interact professionally and collaboratively with others exhibiting decorum and discretion at all times.
• Individual must be self-motivated, a fast learner and able to complete tasks with minimal direction and supervision.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must have an active Secret clearance.
