Job Description
SUMMARY

Process closed loans and daily maintenance of all loans.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Booking of mortgage loans
  • Daily processing of payments received in the mail
  • Daily maintenance of all loan types
  • Balancing of loan related GL and DDA accounts
  • Handling escrow accounts
  • Handling credit disputes
  • Handling insurance mail
  • Handling loan customer service via phone
  • Perform duties as defined in the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of similar or related experience
  • General knowledge of bank operations, policies and procedures
  • Experience of consumer/commercial loan or credit experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Presents a professional image in dealing with customers, interdepartmental and external representatives
  • Have a high degree of interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with customers and employees
  • Ability to exercise personal and professional responsibility and work with limited direction
  • Must be able to use tact and diplomacy and communicate effectively via telephone, letters, personal contact, etc
  • Computer Skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet Explorer
  • Must be a team player
  • General knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program preferred.
