Line Cook - Ski Resort Kitchen - Day hours

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Line Cooks for our F & B venues in Bear Valley.The line cooks will prepare food and set up other necessary supplies. Make sure everything has been set up correctly and use specialized kitchen tools to prepare essential ingredients and create a finished product for the restaurants.

Duties

Prepares kitchen and appliances for daily operation
Follows food safety and sanitation procedures
Prepares food for breakfast and brunch service
Operates grill and cooks food to quality guidelines and specifications
Takes customer’s orders in a friendly and efficient manner
Restocks food supplies when necessary
Cleans cookware and appliances
Maintains cleanliness of kitchen during daily operation
Assists food and beverage manager with daily preparation when necessary
Inform food and beverage manager when food items need to be ordered
Other duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements

1+ years experience as a line cook preferred
Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers in positive, friendly manner
Ability to be successful and work in dynamic kitchen environment
Passion for food and customer service
Ability to stand on feet for long hours, work in changing temperature environments
California Food Handler Certification
