Position Summary

Effectively, efficiently and professionally prepare all food items on the menu, daily specials and special event menus with careful attention to details and established rules of preparation.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform food preparation at the highest-level abiding by establish rule for food-safe handling.
  • Maintain consistency with food preparation.
  • Control all food order tickets.
  • Prepare, with direction of the Club Chef/Sous Chef/Lead Line Cook, daily food prep, special event food prep and daily employee meals.
  • Stock, maintain, clean, and service all working food stations in the kitchen.
  • Maintain order, cleanliness, and security of Clubhouse food storage areas.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness in work areas.
  • Spring cleaning, end of season closing, etc.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Executive Chef, Sous Chef or Clubhouse Manager.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years food preparation experience.
  • Must have extensive creativity with food product.
  • Must have ability to prepare menu items within a timely manner.
  • Must have an "on the spot" problem solving attitude.
  • Requires proficiency in the use of all kitchen equipment, phones, and dishwasher.
  • Ability to speak and understand English helpful.

Position starts June 2023
