Bank Teller: Rock Falls, IL
Our customer in Rock Falls, Illinois is a small financial institution. Their goal is to create a friendly, courteous and professional atmosphere while meeting their client’s needs. They are seeking an organized, motivated individual to join their team.
Responsibilities of the Bank Teller:
- Assisting customers with processing transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, or payments, resolving complaints or account discrepancies, and answering questions.
- Informing customers about bank products and services.
- Tracking, recording, reporting, and storing information related to transactions, bank supplies, and customers, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
- Maintaining and balancing cash drawers and reconciling discrepancies.
- Packaging cash and rolling coins to be stored in drawers or the bank vault.
- Perform a wide variety of complex clerical duties with attention to detail.
- Use your mathematical knowledge to complete a variety of tasks.
- Greet customers and answer their questions.
- Enter data into computer.
- Take phone calls and respond to customers' inquiries.
- Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate person.
- Follow regulations, procedures, and policies, in order to ensure that transactions are completed smoothly.
- Help customers complete transactions using an ATM, phone, or online.
Bank Teller Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months experience in customer service role.
- Banking experience preferred.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be able to maintain a professional appearance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Pay for Bank Teller: Starting at $14.50-$15.50/hour.

Type: 1st Shift, Full-time, 21-24 hours/week
