Role Overview:

Responsible for ensuring quality products are being delivered to all customers, delivering on our brand promise.

Essential Job Functions:

• Main quality control inspection through verifying part conditions and testing (compression, leak down testing, carbon build-up cleaning)

• Expert on engine and transmission

• Verify and confirm all orders go out in acceptable conditions within 24 hours or less

• Accurate records of all part locations

• Complete tasks through various applications (Whip Around, Part Car Relocate, Picture app, Skype, and Teams)

• Work with Fulfillment team to ensure they are delivering functioning parts

• Check notes from customer orders to ensure following customer approval on any part discrepancies

• Communicate QC orders steps with the appropriate employees

• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of orders

• Photo of all parts and accurate records of part locations

• Keep work area clean and safe

• Equipment maintenance/calibration

• Maintains log records on scan records, errors, etc to ensure customer satisfaction

• Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED and/or one (1) year and mechanical experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

• Warehouse experience

• Forklift experience

• Mechanical experience

• Highly knowledge in various automotive parts

• Fast pace environment with an attention to detail

• Excellent decision making skills and ability to self-direct

• Good interpersonal communication skills

Physical Requirements:

• May be required to stand for long periods of time

• May involve some repetitive motions

• May be required to lift, push, and slide packages that weigh up to 75lbs

• May engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part container

Travel Requirements:

• Must be willing to travel to both Rancho Cordova and Marysville locations.
