The Charlotte Hall Drug & Alcohol Residential Treatment Center has served local communities for more than 40-years providing treatment through structured programs for detox, residential care, medication-assisted treatment and family education for both men and women. Pyramid Healthcare offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare for our clients to help develop the strength needed to overcome life’s challenges and allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being. We are seeking a Kitchen Associate to join our team in supporting our clients with assisting with meal preparation and serving; cleaning of dishes, utensil, equipment and pots and pans; while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, work areas, dining room, and serving areas.

Hourly Rate: $15/hour

  • Flexible schedule (kitchen is open from 6am - 7pm. shifts are 6a-2p, 9a- 5p, or 11a -7p)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provides assistance with all dietary functions as directed in accordance with established department policies and procedures.
• Assists with preparing and serving meals following established food safety standards and guidelines.
• Performs daily and/or scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Washes and sanitizes dishes, utensils and equipment according to established procedures and return to storage areas.
• Disposes of food and waste in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.
• Sweeps and mops floors as assigned.
• Restocks food, beverages and supplies for meal service.
• Assists in the receiving, rotating and storage of food and supplies.
• Assists with Cook responsibilities as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education/Experience:

  • Previous food service experience preferred
  • ServSafe Certification preferred
