Position Title: HR Specialist I
Location: Ennis, TX
Reporting to: Director of Human Resources
Salary Range: $55k - $65k – Depending on Experience
Essential Functions
The Human Resource Specialist I guides and manages the overall provisions of employee-related services, policies, and programs with the company and manages assigned accounting tasks. The Human Resource Specialist receives authority from and reports to the Director of Human Resources.
Role and Responsibilities
Candidate’s minimum skills and experiences.
· Knowledge of HR Practices, understanding of human resources principles, policies, and procedures related to recruitment, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance.
· Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to employment practices and the ability to ensure compliance within the organization with employment laws.
· Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. Experience in providing consultation and assistance during the job recruitment and hiring process.
· Robust skills in accounting principles and practices. This includes a proficient understanding of maintaining records, adeptness in generating financial statements, and a commitment to ensuring meticulous compliance with laws and regulations."
· Must be able to take verbal and written instructions.
· Must have a strong attention to detail.
· Strong organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to adapt as the company grows and changes.
· Adhere to Company Safety, Environmental, and Personnel Policies.
Qualifications:
Candidate should ideally possess an associate’s degree or a bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
Self-directed, independent, detail-oriented, and highly motivated.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and written.
Strong organizational and computer skills
Ability to multitask in fast-paced team environment with a focus on overall quality.
Exposure to manufacturing operations preferred.
