Job DescriptionCompany Description
A leading aerospace manufacturer and aircraft parts supplier is seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembly Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise Assembly Technician team while maintaining tight production schedules
- Coordinate and communicate with team about production schedules, making work assignments and following up to ensure due dates are met
- Setup and operate a variety of assembly tools
- Sealing parts
- Drills, reams, and countersinks holes in subassemblies, and bolts, rivets, or otherwise fastens subassemblies into structural assembly, using hand tools and Pneumatic tools.
- Installing hardware
- Track inventory to ensure proper number of parts for assembly
- Read blueprints and specs
- Perform other duties as requested
Requirements
- 2 years experience managing Aerospace machine parts assembly
- Ability to read and understand complex work instructions, blueprints, and specs
- Experience with all types of assembly tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Teamwork and the ability to work with diverse people and groups is required
