Job DescriptionCompany Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of payroll and related reporting as well as customer service responsibilities. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team. Schedule is part time, 16-20 hours May to December and 25 -30 hours during tax season, January to April.
Responsibilities
- Receive payroll instructions from clients and calculate net payroll checks, ach scheduling for direct deposits and balancing the payroll bank account.
- Work closely with the CPA's to understand and ensure accuracy of all client payroll activity
- Assist in preparation and distribution of tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Small office assistance with phone calls and correspondence, filing, organization of information.
