Mechanical Assembly Technician

Immediate need for Mechanical Assembly Technician.  Computer knowledge a must. Must have exp with concrete.

Description

This position is for a production assembler. Duties include building air-machines,

vacuum, payment towers; and vaults. There will be concrete work involved, typically

one to two days bi-weekly or monthly and includes assembling forms, installing vault

components and helping pour, trowel and finish concrete. The applicant must be

physically able to perform these duties to be considered.

Assembler Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to comprehend and follow detailed verbal or written instructions, as well

as diagrams, blueprints, and other technical documents.

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use tools to build or repair product.

• Work with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products.

• Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.

• Meet all safety requirements.

• Identify defective items and handle them according to established procedures.

• Willingness to work in a flexible environment.

• Monitor and maintain inventory of parts and tools used for production.

• Ability to work in a physical environment lifting and moving heavy equipment.

• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds max, 5-10 pounds is more typical.
