Responsibilities:
Performs various tasks and duties to provide technical assistance and support to medical/surgical staff and personnel during surgical procedures.
May specialize in one or more services.
Required:
Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Technologist in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
Two (2) years’ experience as a Surgical Technologist.
Education:
Requires a Associate degree or Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program(Preferred).
Must Have:
Experience required of 2-3 years minimum.
