Position Highlights:

Job Summary

• The Surgical Technician provides technical surgical care to patients in support of care as directed by the physician and in accordance with established hospital goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
• The Surgical Technician is responsible for providing specified services for surgical patients under the direction and supervision of the Director or Coordinator.
• The Surgical Technician is responsible for acting in capacity as directed by the Director, Manager and/or Team lead.

Education and/or Experience

• High school graduate or equivalent required.

• Completion of a Surgical Tech program and National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification required.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure/Registrations

• Eligible for or have CST certification.

 Work Schedule

• 7:15 am start time – 8 hour shift
• with rotation for weekends, evenings/nights and holidays on call time

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

• $23.25 - $34.00 per hour
