Pharmacy Technician

Walt Churchill's Market is looking for a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician at our Perrysburg, OH location.

Responsibilities:

* Accepting written prescriptions or refill requests from patients and evaluating information for completeness and accuracy

* Recording medical histories while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations

* Delivering quality customer service to patients, responding to inquiries, questions, or requests, and referring them to the pharmacist for medical information

* Verifying the accuracy of patient information

* Counting prescription medication, filling prescriptions, and typing and attaching medication labels

* Performing inventory audits and purchasing supplies and medication

* Processing patient insurance

Pharmacy hours are:

* Monday-Friday: 9am-7pm

* Saturday: 9am-5pm

* Sunday: Closed

*This position will require a varied schedule of three shifts per week and rotating Saturdays totaling around 15-20 hours per week. No Sundays or major holidays.

*Must be at least 18 years of age

*Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting is preferred

*High school degree or GED required

*The ability to use a computer for day-to-day tasks

*Ability to learn quickly and multi-task

*Must be able to pass a background check
