Central Supply Coordinator PRN Days Position Summary:

The specific duties/requirements for this role include but are not limited to:

  • Ordering supplies for all PARS
  • Picking and delivering dept requisition orders
  • Restocking the PARS with needed supplies.
  • Restocking the Omnicell.
  • Walking shelves to investigate any inventory discrepancies in Stock location 1 to ensure we have supplies
  • Backup for submitting purchase requisitions in the PEGA system for approval of non-stock items
  • Picking orders to be transfer to HHH, TED or BMC
  • Reviewing stock for expired supplies / documenting on expired items log
  • Completing all supply conversions for cost savings
  • Assisting with crash cart restocking / updates
  • Receiving in all FedEx and UPS shipments and delivering them to the appropriate units.
  • Assisting with receiving and putting away Medline shipments 3x per week. Approx. 5-6 pallets of supplies per shipment.
  • Must be able to lift at 20-30lbs and operate a pallet jack
  • Must be flexible with hours
  • Must be able to work at fast pace
  • Must desire to be a part of a team to reach the goal of supplying what is needed to care for our patients and support out internal customers

THE CENTRAL SUPPLY COORDINATOR PRN DAYS CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES AND CERTIFICATION

Education
Minimum Education: High School Graduate or equivalent
Preferred Educations: Some college coursework

Preferred Experience:
Minimum Experience: 1 year experience in inventory management or central supply
Preferred Experience: 2 years experience in medical central supply
