Systems Engineer - SCCM/MECM/Endpoint

What you’ll do:

As a Systems Engineer specializing in SCCM/MECM/Endpoint, you contribute to and perform tasks within assigned ITS departmental areas to support Lifepoint’s Operating Systems, Infrastructure, and Middleware. You ensure that tasks meet ITS/Business expectations and Customer Service Level Agreements. Additionally, you participate in projects requiring departmental involvement and provide education/guidance to less experienced team members.

Responsibilities:

  •       Manages departmental projects, ensuring clear definition, systematic execution, full documentation, and business-oriented results.
  •       Executes migration strategies to future technical architecture.
  •       Participates in testing and selection of new systems and infrastructure projects.
  •       Supports operational procedures and standards, following vendor best practices.
  •       Certifies, installs, configures, and maintains LifePoint Windows server systems.
  •       Every 4-6 weeks, provides 24/7 on-call support and basic triage for department areas.
  •       Defines configuration specifications for new systems based on requirements.
  •       Performs root cause analysis of system failures, makes recommendations for performance improvements, and communicates issues within the department.

What you’ll need:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Information Systems
Experience: 2+ years of experience
Certifications: MCSA or MCSE preferred
