What you’ll do:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating, monitoring, conducting, and reporting on enterprise assurance activities. This position requires a deep understanding of complex accounting and auditing issues, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and adherence to other applicable regulations. The Audit Manager will be responsible for developing risk-based audit workplans, contributing to the enterprise risk assurance function's goals, and executing audit procedures with precision.

Responsibilities:

·       Risk-Based Audit Planning: Contribute to the development of risk-based audit workplans and goals, identifying risks, evaluating functions, controls, and data.

·       Audit Procedures and Work Programs: Develop risk-based audit procedures and work programs for assigned projects.

·       Project Execution: Manage the execution of work programs in a timely manner, ensuring adequate documentation for test work, findings, and corrective action plans.

·       Project Management: Oversee the daily progress of multiple simultaneous projects, identify potential audit issues and operational improvements, challenge current procedures to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

·       Controls Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of controls and discuss conclusions with management.

·       Report Generation: Compose comprehensive reports, including details, root causes, and recommendations. Develop and update dashboards reflecting holistic project progress.

·       Communication: Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with business partners, conduct opening/exit meetings, provide ongoing status updates, and document issues and improvement opportunities.

·       Stakeholder Interaction: Maintain consistent interaction with facility CFOs/Controllers and HSC department leads.

·       Training and Development: Assist in the development and presentation of training and quarterly update materials for facility leadership.

·       Feedback and Supervision: Provide written and oral feedback, one-on-one training, and delegate work assignments to departmental staff/seniors.

·       Regulatory and Compliance: Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance, including HIPAA.

Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems or related discipline

Experience: 5+ years of experience
