Position: Contracted Remote School Speech Therapist

Location: Remote (Vermont-based)

Job Description: As a Contracted Remote School Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the communication needs of our students from the comfort of your own workspace. We are looking for a professional who is not only experienced in speech therapy but is also passionate and excited about making a difference in the lives of our students.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct remote assessments to identify and diagnose speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
• Provide engaging and exciting virtual therapy sessions to students with speech and language challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the virtual learning environment.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
• Bring a passionate and enthusiastic approach to remote therapy sessions.
• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in remote speech therapy.

Qualifications:

• Monolingual applicants considered.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or state equivalent.
• Vermont state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Proven experience in a school setting or with remote therapy.
• Passionate and exciting approach to therapy sessions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective virtual collaboration.
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to suit virtual sessions.
