Job Summary

Our Cloud Automation Team is looking for an engineer ready to work on exciting cloud-based automation projects, enabling end to end production test workflows for our cloud-ready products.  With a focus on quality and time we design, implement, and test new features in our AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud labs to facilitate our development and QA teams.

Responsibilities

•    Work collaboratively within a team environment to meet goals with high-quality standards.
•    Ability to follow engineering principles and practices, but also able to develop new methods and approaches to solving unique and difficult problems.
•    Solid oral and written communication skills, with the ability to share ideas with NetApp teams around the world.

•    Follow engineering principles and practices as well as develop new methods and approaches to solving unique and difficult problems.
•    Develop new and maintain existing cloud-based automation 
•    
Responsible for a mix of structured and unstructured tasks.
•    Apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving routine to complex problems. 
•    Working with teams across the company in problem solving and design efforts.

Job Requirements

•    Creative and analytical approach to problem solving and analysis.

•    Familiarity of concepts of computer architecture, data structures and standard programming practices.

•    Proficient programmer with experience on programming and computing concepts: 

o    Object Oriented Programming

o    Basic knowledge of PERL and Python

o    Software Configuration Management

o    Basic Linux administration

o    Testing

o    Documentation

•    Technical experience in at least one of the following advanced programming and computing concepts: 

o    Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP) (experience in one or more)

o    Containers

o    CI/CD

o    Service-based architectures

o    Continuous integration

o    Resource management

•    Solid oral and written communication skills, with the ability to share ideas with NetApp teams

 

Education

IC - Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.Mgr & Exec - Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.

The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $132,210- $185,790. Final compensation will be dependent on arious factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law.  In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws, Company bonus/commission, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s).
